Depot Golf as first drawn had four findings: an open stack too close to a house, a magazine drawn turned so that AEMS counted it and its neighbour as one site, detonators stored with shells, and a barricade that did not count for people protection. Two are fixed here by moves AEMS worked out with the storages the depot already has; the people-protection one is shown in 3D below. Every card is the app's own screen and words on a synthetic site.

An open stack is too close to a house.
AEMS measures every pair on the site and shows which one falls short - and by how much.
1 of 29 neighbours is too close. Worst: H-6 needs 472 m, has 441.5 m (30.6 m short).

One move, with the storages you already have.
AEMS works out the fix in whole items and checks it on the whole site. A draft for you to check - AEMS never applies it itself.
Move DEM-10 (Charge, demolition 10 kg (synthetic)) - 135 items, 1,350 kg - from OS-3 to OS-1 (140 m away). After it: OS-3 ✓ Compliant · OS-1 ✓ Compliant

Detonators may not share this storage with the shells.
From the inventory, AEMS checks what may share a storage under AASTP-1 Table 5 - here electric detonators (group B) and 155 mm shells (group E) - and says where the items can go.
Move DET-1 (Detonator, electric (synthetic)) - 2,000 items, 4 kg - from A-2 to HW-1 (1202 m away). After it: A-2 ✓ Compliant · HW-1 ✓ Compliant

Every storage, every pair - compliant.
With the fixes in place, the whole depot meets its distances and its compatibility rules.
All 12 storages are far enough from their neighbours.

AEMS draws the lines.
From what is in each storage, AEMS draws two safeguarding lines round the depot: amber for inhabited buildings, blue for vulnerable ones such as schools and hospitals.
The school and the hospital stand outside the blue line.
Vulnerable buildings get the wider line. Both stand beyond it.
Every house in the village stands outside the amber line.
Fields lie between the line and the houses.
House H-6 stands outside the amber line - after the fix.
As first drawn an open stack was too close. After the move AEMS advised, the line passes just short of the house.
Roads and the power line are checked too.
AEMS checks the closest point of every road and power line against every storage. The closest calls, each with room to spare:
Does the barricade count?
Lines of sight run from the top of one stack to the other; AEMS adds up the barricade on each. Concrete used with earth counts four times its thickness (AASTP-1 2.2.3.3). AEMS: "BAR-02 with BAR-03: 10.3 m on line AB (1.0 m concrete × 4 + 6.3 m earth), 9.4 m 0.3 m above it".
People protection: does the barricade count?
LW-1, a light-walled storehouse, has an earth-backed concrete barricade towards the farm FH-1. AEMS judges it by AASTP-1.1 3.2.6.2: from the side, square to the wall.
As first drawn, the stack stands 3.0 m inside the wall.
The 25° line from its top must pass under the whole crest. Here it needs 5.53 m at the far edge; the crest is 5.2 m. AEMS does not count the barricade, so the farm is too close: needs 376 m, has 318.2 m.
Kept 0.5 m from the wall, the barricade counts.
The line now needs 4.37 m - under the 5.2 m crest. AEMS: "people-protection section OK". The farm needs 235 m and has 318.2 m ✓.

Explainability
A distance is only useful if a safety officer can check it. Open any pair and AEMS draws it, names the effect that governs and shows the table column and exposed-site type it was read from.
Measured to scale.
The pair is drawn as it lies on the site and measured outline to outline: 441.5 m.
Where it comes from.
The quantity and the table column and exposed-site type the distance was read from: "column 4j · ES 24".
What governs.
Each effect with its own required distance - blast and debris here - and the one that governs.
Always labelled.
Every required distance carries the standard it comes from, one click from the full reference.

Connected workflow
01 · Plan
Storages, buildings, roads, fences and barricades on a local metric grid - drawn by hand or from a plan, with doors, rotation and types.

02 · Check
The inventory comes in from the Excel template AEMS makes for the site. From it AEMS works out each storage's quantity, checks every pair and shows how much each storage may hold - and what limits it.

03 · Change
For a storage that falls short, AEMS proposes moves between the storages you already have - in whole items - and checks the whole site after each one. A draft to check, never applied by itself.

04 · Document
The safeguarding map, the QD calculation sheets, the licence proposal, door cards and inspection forms - drafts marked as such, for the qualified officer to check and sign.

Documentation
Drafts ready for the qualified officer's check and signature - made from the same site data as the screen.
