What we collect
Only what you type into the request form: your full name, your organisation, your professional e-mail address, your country if you give it, the kind of request and your message. We also keep the date and time it arrived.
To limit abuse, the server works out a one-way code from your connection's IP address and a secret value, and keeps that code with your request for one day, then deletes it. The IP address itself is not stored.
Browsing the website does not require any personal data. There is no account and no login.
Why, and on what basis
We use your request only to answer it: to arrange a demonstration, discuss an evaluation or a quotation, or reply to your question. The basis is your request itself (steps you ask for before any agreement) and our legitimate interest in answering business inquiries. We do not use it for newsletters or marketing lists, and we do not sell or share it.
How long we keep it
Requests are deleted automatically 12 months after they arrive. So that we can answer quickly, each request is also sent in full by e-mail to contact@aemsdefence.com; that copy is deleted from the mailbox within the same 12 months. If a conversation continues by e-mail, that correspondence is kept only as long as the conversation needs it.
Who processes it for us
The website runs on Cloudflare. Cloudflare hosts the pages, stores the requests in its database service (D1) and runs Turnstile, the check that tells people from automated programs. Turnstile looks at signals from your browser to do this; it is used only on the request form. Cloudflare Web Analytics counts page visits without cookies and without identifying you. Cloudflare also sends us the e-mail copy of each request. Our e-mail runs on Zoho Mail, in its European Union data centre, where those copies and our correspondence are stored. Cloudflare and Zoho may process data outside your country under their data processing terms.
Cookies
The website sets no cookies of its own and uses no advertising or tracking cookies. If you choose "Reduce motion" or turn the background music on, your browser remembers that choice on your own device.
Your rights
You can ask to see the data we hold about you, to correct it, to delete it, to restrict or object to its use, and to receive it in a portable form. Write to contact@aemsdefence.com. You can also complain to the data protection authority in your country.
AEMS itself
This notice covers the website only. The AEMS application is not offered on this website; the website never asks for, and must not be sent, real ammunition data, site names or coordinates.
Changes
If this notice changes, the new version is published here with its date.
